Storm
water management is a critical piece of land development that is often under
appreciated. The failure to manage storm water during and after
development can have irreparable consequences such as flooding, mud slides, and
contamination of lakes, streams and rivers.
Recent studies have traced the decline in Puget Sound orcas, now 84 remaining, to salmon contaminated with PCB's. Although PCB's have been banned since the 1970's, there are many other pollutants contaminating our rivers, lakes and oceans that are not banned. The long term effect will be devastating.
This pollution can be greatly reduced using proper storm water management techniques.
Applied Organics, Inc. has a variety of environmental solutions designed to reduce contaminants and pollution in our environment.
